YMCA of Norwalk Aquatics
As in all YMCA programs, the goal for the National YMCA aquatic program is to develop the whole person, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Teaching methods are designed to help each participant develop his/her fullest potential, to encourage awareness of safety, and to master skills to the best of their ability. YMCA aquatic programs, offered at our YMCA, are not only beneficial in developing a healthy lifestyle, but are also an excellent place for youths and adults alike to make new friends, and most importantly, to have fun!
YMCA of Norwalk Swim Lessons

YMCA Swim Lessons are taught by certified instructors with additional safety training in CPR, First Aid, and AED administration. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Our Swim Lessons offer a low student-teacher ratio to help children and adults, ranging in age from 6 months to an adult; safely develop their skills and confidence in the water. All swim instructors are required to ensure safety and teach the YMCA of Norwalk's core values: Caring, Respect, Honesty and Responsibility.
