Water provides a liquid weight machine that offers resistance work in functional ranges of motion for daily living, while the support of buoyancy cushions impact against joints. As adults age or experience physical changes due to an injury or pregnancy, they can modify their training programs for comfort and safety.

Non swimmer- beginner (Ages 15 & up) This is a special class for those who don't feel at ease in the water or who have never participated in swimming lessons. Instructors work with students in a small group to help them overcome their fears, learn about water safety and begin basic swim skills. This class is located in our heated Auxiliary Pool. Monday 7:15pm-8:00pm Intermediate/ Advanced (Ages 15 & up) This is a class designed for adults who are comfortable in the water and who would like to work on stroke development and endurance. It is perfect for those who have limited swimming skills and who would like to improve their techniques. Must be able to swim one lap freestyle & one lap backstroke. Ratio: 8:1 Aux pool/ Main This class is located in our heated Auxiliary Pool.
