Youth Development Programs

This program is designed specifically for middle school students and provides a safe, fun alternative to hanging out at home each afternoon. YMCAs are well positioned to have a positive impact on the lives of middle school age youth. Our middle-school Programs offer experiences for young people to learn new skills, spend time with caring leaders, and discover new interests. These programs also provide a safe, supervised setting that will benefit each child, their families and the entire community.

The YMCA of Norwalk operates licensed afterschool care at West Rocks Middle School.

West Rocks Middle School programs run from school dismissal to 6:00 PM.
