Families come in all sizes and shapes and so do YMCA of Norwalk Family Programs. Our programs strengthen family ties by offering a safe, welcoming environment for kids and parents to communicate, cooperate, and have fun. NEW! Family Fun Nights
Spend some quality family time with other Y families. We offer you a chance to meet each others and share in the community we have created here. Join us for activities, food and fun. The time you spend with your kids and all the kids at the Y helps build a community that builds Assets. So come play with us! These events are for everyone!

Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child's birthday at the YMCA of Norwalk. A room is provided for cake cutting and other activities. Reservations can be made year-round. We have many themes to choose from:

Ballet/Hip Hop

NEW! YMCA Adventure Guides (Grades K-3)
One-on-one time with a father or other male role model helps build relationships that build strong kids. These father/son or father/daughter groups meet monthly. Uncles, step fathers and grandfathers also are encouraged to participate. Through the monthly meetings and special events, you and your child can share experiences and create lifelong bonds. The program runs from September through June. Events include campouts and activities like ice skating, kite flying or swimming.

NEW! YMCA Trailblazers (Grades 4-6)
Trailblazer extends the Adventure Guide experiences to the older elementary kids. The focus remains on building strong relationships, and kids take a more active role in the planning and leadership of events and activities.
