Adult and Teens

You are never too old to start learning how to swim.

View Our Adult & Teen Aquatics Programs

Here at the YMCA of Norwalk we believe that everyone can learn how to swim.  We offer swim lessons for Teens and Adults from beginner levels to advanced levels.  There is something here for everyone.

If you have ever wondered how to become a swim instructor, now’s the time to learn.  We offer a program that allows Teens and Adults to stand along side a seasoned swim instructor and learn the mechanics of teaching others how to swim.  Please see the Director of Aquatics if you are interested.

We offer lifeguarding courses to anyone age 15 years and older.  The American Red Cross Lifeguard course is accepted all over the United States and is good for 3 years.  If you would like more information, please contact the Director of Aquatics.

Are you a seasoned swimmer, and want to work out with friends?  Master’s Swim Club is just what the Doctor ordered.  Early mornings before work or evenings after work come work out with the Master’s Swim Club and make some new friends.  For an Questions please feel free to contact the Director of Aquatics, Lynn Wheeler by email or phone.  Lwheeler@norwalkymca.org or 203-866-4425 ext. 336
